How To Have The Perfect Summer Wedding

I think that summer is the most popular season when it comes to a wedding. Why is that? You may ask yourself. Well, I guess the lovely weather has a big role in this, just imagine having your wedding on a beach at sunset, or in a park surrounded by the beauty of nature. Pretty awesome, right? I won't even go and say that the wedding pictures will be amazing with so much beauty everywhere because I'm pretty sure you know that.

But what do you have to keep in mind when you're planning your perfect summer wedding? Now that's a tough one, right? No problem! I've put together a list of tips that will help you stay on the right path and make sure that you will have the wedding of your dreams. Enjoy!

Always be prepared! - A lot can happen when you hold a wedding under the open sky. The weather forecast may talk about bright sunshine, but those flash showers happen and no one can predict them. Devising a strategy for your guests should the rain sweep in isn’t just smart, it’s a must. You should always have a tent ready to pop up just in case the rain decides to stop by, that way you'll carry on with your wedding like nothing happened.

Put some extra money aside - Let's face it, weddings are very expensive and a wedding in the open air isn’t a cheap option, just because there’s no roof over your head! You need to think about the site fees for your wedding, as there’s going to be someone who owns the land. If you use the grounds of a country manor or hall as part of a reception package, there are savings you’ll be making but keep money aside for any unexpected rain expenses and taxes.

A good planning is key - In order to create a magical atmosphere at your wedding, you have to be prepared. You will need to check if you have a power source at the place where the wedding will be held and if not, you have to find generators to solve it. Check for lights, heaters if you're having the wedding later in the night, everything needs to be double checked so you won't stress out that day. Also, it is very important that you have a plan B because the weather can be unpredictable and it's nice to know that you have a backup plan that will ensure the best going of your wedding.

Don't forget about the outfits! - How could you? Right? I've seen a lot of people that either buy way too early a dress or a suit and then they don't fit it anymore, or they just buy it too late and they have to settle with whatever they can find in the store. Make sure that you have enough time to get the outfit that you want without having to stress about it. Because the mother of the bride will also be in the centre of attention, a visit to Coast will be just the right thing for her because she will find the perfect outfit in no time!

An outdoor wedding can be an absolutely beautiful occasion, but if you aren’t prepared for the weather to change you need to rethink your dreams. Dream up a wedding full of honeysuckle and lazy bumblebees meandering by, but check out the options that are available to you should things go pear-shaped. You’ll be thankful you did!
